Diametrically Opposed Long Exposures

Both of these images were taken with a 2 second exposure in front of the post office next to Penn station.  Just goes to show you how different the exact same exposure can look depending on if you keep still or not.  ;-)

the first one is calm, the next one is when some jerk says AM NEW YORK!!!! or METRO!! GETCHER METRO!!! and startles the living crap outta you when all you want is a pretzel.

this is why i live in the woods.

Did you have a tripod with the first one? If not, congrats on a really still hand.
