I had a strange dream last night where an old 60's style pay phone was on the wall in my parent's living room. Strangers would come in at night to use it. So I thought this image was appropriate today.

There was a London-style phone booth located on Penny Lane in Kichijoji in Tokyo at the end of the alleyway between Sun Road and the back side of Loft (or would that be the front side?). It was there for ever so long, and I was going to get a picture of it ... maybe as a backdrop of my daughter wearing my vintage wool coat from the '70's, but I never did and now the daughter, the coat, and the booth are gone, gone, gone. Pam is right. This is a keeper. Beautiful. (And so "modern" with those shiny push buttons to be so nearly obsolete.)! Ha.

What You Need To Know
I'm photographer and Brooklynite Bill Wadman, evil-genius responsible for 365portraits.com, a series of portraits I completed at the end of 2007. My subjects have included Buzz Aldrin, Imogen Heap, Tucker Carlson, Jhumpa Lahiri, James Burke, Mo Rocca, and maybe, you.
I shoot portraits professionally, though I experiment in other styles when the mood hits me. I've shot all over the world and my work has been featured in Time, Improper Bostonian, The Observer, Times of London, and others. Want to see more? Visit my online portfolio. If you'd like to commission me to work on your next project or personal portrait, Email me.
Funny how you no longer see these payphones around the city. Almost everyone carries a cell around.

Save this photo for ever because payphones are almost extinct now. I really like this one. It's artistic and I look the colors in it. Cool photo.
