I can't decide if I really like this shot or really don't.

oh I definitely like it. it has so much movement for being shot straight up, the trees swirl and the patterning is gorgeous. it almost seems upside down, but then I look again and it looks tilted 90 degrees, then I look again and it looks right side up, which just adds to the swirly feeling of it all. plus the colors ... so vibrant. yeah, I like this one.

I don't know about the shot itself, but I would definitely love to lie under that tree right now.

I think it looks stronger upside-down.

What I really wanted to say, though, is that I'd love to see some tech info for your shots, especially your portraits; aperture, lighting setup, whathaveyou. Have you considered doing this?

I know the feeling. I find myself thinking, "okay, this is either awesome or it totally sucks," all the time.

What I like about this shot is that the trees seem to be coming together, joining, rather than simply standing next to each other. I don't know whether you saw that or it was just the green against blue which caught your attention.

In the interests of full disclosure, I'm drawn to the green against blue thing as well which has ended up becoming shots like this:

I like it. A lot! ;-)
