Just a quick update on 'Hanging Prints on a Budget'.  Yesterday I hung the whole series of 12 portraits of the staff of the Red Horse Cafe on my block.  It was a fun series to shoot casually over the course of a few weeks and now everyone can see the whole set.

...and the best part is that so far, none of them have fallen down, yet...

Here's one side of the room:

Excellent! :)

What are their lattes like?

Bill I really love these, I am looking for a way to hang on a budget but I was a bit confused about your method here.. The 1/2inch or so rim around the prints, what is that? Is it just Styrofoam or is it a small frame?

Hi Miles-

The 1/2 inch around the edge is foamcore covered by black masking tape. See the picture towards the bottom of this post

and MahonyWeb, I don't know.. I don't drink coffee. ;-)

Great job.

Would you mind blogging about how you approached each subject and what it took to convince them?

Looks awesome. I hope I will not procrastinate and get my butt down there to see it :)

Hi! I am replying to the person asking about Red Horse lattes- Bill doesn't drink coffee but I do and I can say their lattes are delicious! Also they have very nice scones.

I don't work there.

It looks great. Is this in NYC? I'm going to be there in September so if the cafe is there I want to add it to my must see list. ;-)

"...None of them have fallen down yet." Haha!

Nice shot of the photos on the wall. Photos look terrific. I would think that it adds something more to the decor and ambiance of the place.

stopped by on my way back from the Y this morning -- looks good!
