Your Pictures and How Magazines Use Them

I had the opportunity a couple months ago to shoot Jane Sherburne and Louis Briskman, both super fancy corporate lawyers for a NYSE Board Members Magazine. Here is how they were used as well as the original final images. Interesting, right?

For lighting geeks out there. Both were single light (speedlight in a 16″ foldable softbox) plus ambient. So one backpack for everything including the camera.

Cait’s Birthday Average

I went to my friend Cait’s birthday party today, and she asked me to take a picture of everyone. So I took it literally. I took a portrait of each person and then averaged them together in post. Here’s the result.

Becca in the Studio

An old subject from 365 Portraits came over last week to take some gussied up studio pictures.
Quite a different look from the last shoot.
